I have been fascinated by images of South America since I was a child. When I was 19, I visited Patagonia. And, I started working as the coordinator of hiking around the world. Now my life's work is photography on the theme of "living on the ends of the earth".
Since 2011, I am the representative of Andina Travel Co. Ltd (PIRIKA Japón), which is a adventure travel agency for South America.

1996年より、南米パタゴニアを中心に中南米に通う。大手山岳旅行社に勤務しながら中南米担当として、トレッキングツアー企画・添乗。2011年にアンディーナトラベル（株）を設立。山岳旅行の企画・手配・ガイドをしながら、パタゴニアへの渡航を続ける。南米の至る所にある茫漠とも言える「何もない世界＝地の果て」の魅力を伝える写真撮影をライフワークとして活動。
